"Well, the boys are out playing on the four wheeler and I better go supervise."
I go outside to find this.....

and this....

The boys had put the plow blade on the four wheeler and used it to "edge" our yard. This method of landscaping is commonly referred to as the "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" way of doing things.
While I understand that I may occasionally have a momentary lapse of judgement, my husband is adamant that he does not. That man will defend his actions to the death...no matter how DUMB they may be! So instead of cleaning the house I helped clean up Dustin's edging.

Yes, that is a SNOW SHOVEL he's using!!!

I'm not sure, but I think the WOMAN is typically experiencing nesting at this point in the pregnancy; however, I think Dustin has come down with a bit of a cleaning complex. Once we got everything cleaned up in the yard he made us all jump in and tackle the garage.
I basically just stood there and pointed out where things needed to go and what needed to be picked up. But before you say anything, I "directed" with the nicest tone of voice. I swear. I just had to laugh at the entire morning's events.
Poor Josh - every time Dustin would ask him to do something he'd say, "Um, Dad, I'm done helping."
Who could blame the kid?
