The cold certainly didn't seem to slow the kids down and Miss Ella wasn't about to be left out of anything so she didn't seem to bothered by it either.

The goats are by FAR their most favorite animal on the farm. The kids squealed each time their handful of feed was eaten. Miss Ella laughed every time Josh and Lauren ran back for more.

The pigs, ostrich, chickens and ducks were all fun, too. But the smell of the chickens made Lauren let out a big, "EEWWWWWW"!!!

Then we were on the hunt for our perfect pumpkins...all five of them! A bale of hay, six ears of corn and a few more pictures and we were off to get lunch.

We headed into Vinton and ate at a restaurant where Dustin had made deliveries before. All of a sudden he laughed, smiled and waved across the restaurant - it was a guy he works with at UPS! What are the chances?
Anyways, I opened up my fortune cookie and got this...

Which seemed pretty appropriate considering our afternoon activities.
And then Dustin opened his and got this...

My late grandmother was big into signs. So I said a quick prayer..."Dear God...please let this be a sign that we only have three more months until Daddy's working at UPS full-time!"
It was a great afternoon for a Sunday drive and the kids were great but now they are constantly asking when Halloween is going to be here. **sigh**
