Anyway, much fun was had by all and many pins were knocked down; unfortunately not by me. All I will say is that even with kiddie bumpers I didn't hit 100. Pathetic. Josh even beat me.
After bowling we came home for cake. Yummers! I was too busy this year to make one so Hy-vee pitched in and made sure he got what he wanted: Curious George.
I'd show you a picture of him with his cake but no one could catch him and make him sit down long enough. Between the anticipation of opening presents and Grandma Toni giving him pop at the bowling alley he was a little wired.
Josh may be spoiled but he knows enough to protect his suppliers. I asked him where he got the pop at the bowling alley. He said, "Dad." So I went over to Dustin and gave him a hard time for rotting our child's teeth. Eventually the truth came out and we both realized our son could be compromised with a glass of pop. I shouldn't be surprised; I can't imagine what his father would sacrifice for a 2-liter of Mountain Dew.
In Lauren news...
She rolled over on Thursday night!!! I had put her on her stomach while I ran to get a load of laundry. I came back and she was on her back. I'm not quite sure who was more shocked, but needless to say, I have a feeling she will be moving much sooner than Josh ever did! She is just so strong.
The following is documentation of what a nice bath can do for a person (no matter how small).
Wake up looking like Don King.
Take a little bath to relax and get clean.
Get dressed and smile for the camera.
If it could only be that easy some days.
