After dinner we all headed back to the house in order to celebrate someone's impending fourth birthday!!
Saturday was the big party and I was trying to prep my children for all the people who would be in attendance. I tried to explain that even though we didn't know all of the people, they weren't really strangers because they were all important people in Pop-pop and Joyce's lives. I told Lauren that some people may want to give her a hug and that it would be okay if they did.
She responded dead serious with: "Is it because I'll look so pretty in my belt dress and new sandals?"
I died.
The party was a hit and everyone had a great time! The kids were wonderful and that made the whole thing a millions more enjoyable for mom and dad!
Before we knew it, it was time to head home! Fun times with family goes so quickly and this weekend was no exception!
